Position Filled
The local newspaper had listing from a chamber of commerce about an open position for a secretary. The organization received several applications. Only one applicant was a male, named Bob. Bob was 60 and had spent half of his life as secretary giving him what he thought would be a leg up against all the other applicants. Instead, he was not even interviewed. Bob alleged he was not interviewed because of his age and filed suit against the organization for age discrimination.
